Veronica
Castro Ramirez

Veronica Castro Ramirez is a senior and Burke scholar at Marquette University pursuing a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. She has gained valuable experience through previous roles at Milwaukee Downtown BID #21, Bader Rutter, and Mueller Communications. In addition, Veronica serves as President of Marquette’s Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee Chapter and works part-time as a literacy tutor at Roger Street Academy. 

Through these opportunities, Veronica has developed a strong interest in strategic communications and digital marketing. Her passion for the city of Milwaukee is reflected in her written work and the community events she organizes each year. An attentive listener, she is particularly passionate of the untold stories and strives to bring them to light. 

 

Outside of academics and professional pursuits, Veronica enjoys running along the lakefront, spending quality time with friends and family, reading, and indulging in her love for sushi—often in that order.
